Day trips to Paris by train, or Jersey and the Isles de Chaussey are all possible, as are guided tours of the D-day beaches. For the children there is a great Zoo (Champetres), the Forest Adventure at St. Sauveur le Vicomte or Festyland at Caen amongst many other attractions (corn maze, miniature train, Cité de la mer at Cherbourg)

Other sporting and leisure activities available nearby include; tennis; golf; horse riding; canoeing; windsurfing; sailing; karting and ice-skating, all of which we can help you organise. There is now a network of cycle routes going to La Haye du Puits and Coutances in one direction, and Portbail and Briquebec in the other, all of which can be joined close to the house. We also have free Wi-Fi access.

We are close to the Parc des Marais which is a designated Nature reserve.
